SCANDINAVIAN CONFERENCE ON INJURY PREVENTION IN YOUTH SPORT

Welcome to the inaugural Scandinavian Conference on Injury Prevention in Youth Sports – a dynamic collaboration between the Handball Research Group, the Sport Without Injury Programme (SWIPE), Team HAPPY, and the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center. We are thrilled to bring together experts and enthusiasts alike in a concerted effort to address the critical issue of injury prevention in youth sports. Together, we aim to foster innovation, share knowledge, and promote safer athletic experiences for young athletes.
This one-day conference is dedicated to exploring various facets of injury prevention across a range of youth sports. We extend a warm invitation to all professionals engaged in youth sports, sharing a passion for injury prevention. For a more comprehensive overview, please refer to the programme.

The conference will be an in-person event only.

Registration is closed!
Conference fee: this conference is free of charge. If you have not registered for the conference you can not participate. There will be no on-site registration. The registration is now closed! Since this is a free event no lunch will be included, but we will serve a light Swedish fika in the afternoon. There are several restaurants and cafes located near the conference venue.
Although this event is offered free of charge, it's important to note that the conference organizers will not be responsible for covering any additional expenses incurred by delegates, such as travel or accommodation costs, in the event of conference cancellation.
